Gledhow

Gledhow is a picturesque suburb of northeast Leeds. The charming area boasts beautiful country homes, spacious, semi-detached houses and flats that now occupy the 17th century mansion that was once the home of James Kitson, 1st Baron Airedale. The quiet residential area is surrounded by the trendy Chapel Allerton, the old-money Moortown and the woodsy area of Roundhay. Whilst the suburb offers plenty of adventure with its majestic woodlands and historic homes, the surrounding areas of Leeds provide plenty of diversions and attractions.

HISTORY

Recent years have given way to several boundary changes and new property developments. But, the lush forest and old mansions continue to delight visitors and residents with their stunning beauty and rich history.
